​We’re all about Less. waste

​Mahurangi Wastebusters are reopening their freshly upgraded Lawrie Road site with the new name Less. Waste Warkworth.  Mahurangi Wastebusters Trust is still highly active in our community, doing lots of zero waste education in early childhood education centres, and at events throughout the region.

​Less. is about much more than just recycling and waste, our mission is to send less to landfill, making a positive impact on the environment. 

Come and check out the new Less. Waste site at Lawrie Road, Snells Beach or our shop at 47 Station Road, Wellsford and see for yourself. 

• Recycling - everything from glass bottles, plastic and metalware and appliances to timber and greenwaste.  We also accept general waste.
• Less collections - if you’re having a major clear out, give us a call and we’ll come and get it from your place
• ​Less Shop - we accept donations of quality used goods that go to our onsite shop, saving them going to landfill - everything from construction products, wood, windows and furniture to clothes, toys and home decor. (Wellsford open now and Warkworth opening soon).
