​We’re all about Less. waste

​Less. Waste Warkworth + Wellsford is the hands-on drop-off yard for recyclables and general waste in Snells Beach, helping you sort your recycling, re-use and rubbish, diverting waste from landfill, and managing our two Shop Less second-hand stores. Mahurangi Wastebusters Trust is still highly active in our community, spreading zero waste education in schools and early childhood education centres, as well as onsite in the Learning Hub.

​Less. is about much more than just recycling and waste, our mission is to educate and empower our community in order to send less to landfill, making a positive impact on the environment. 

Come and check out the Less drop-off yard and shop at 55 Lawrie Road, Snells Beach or our shop at 47 Station Road, Wellsford and see for yourself. 

• Recycling - everything from glass bottles, plastic, metalware and appliances to timber and green waste.  We also accept general waste.
  
• Less collections - if you’re having a major clear out, fill out our enquiry form and we’ll come and get it from your place
• Shop Less - we accept donations of quality used goods that go to our onsite shop, saving them from landfill - everything from construction materials, wood, windows and furniture to clothes, toys and home decor.  We have two sites - Shop Less Wellsford, 47 Station Road, and Shop Less Warkworth, 55 Lawrie Road (drive through the yard for access).
