Mahurangi Wastebusters has proudly been running zero-waste events, repair cafes, waste minimisation education and training events in the North Rodney area since 2017.
Our Learning Hub at our upgraded Lawrie Road Community Recycling Centre is now open - we welcome bookings from schools, kingergartens, ECEs, community groups and community members to learn how to reduce waste to landfill and recycle right. We also offer an education program for schools and ECEs in the North Rodney area and can come to you. Get in touch to book the space or to chat further using the form below.
We also host loads of events throughout the year in conjunction with many great community groups - Waste-Ed with Kate, Compost Collective, as part of Ecofest, and local community groups. Information on these events can be found here.

The learning experience led by Trish Allen (who has been on a zero waste journey since the '90s) and Ewan Briggs, was truly eye-opening."
